Our Vision

We envision a growing spirit of unity among God’s people, encouraging meaningful change in our city.

Our Mission

Together LA enhances the positive impact of faith-inspired individuals, churches, and organizations committed to the well-being of people across Los Angeles.

What We Do

Celebrate

We tell stories to honor those investing in others and highlight God’s work in our city.

Connect

We foster relationships believing these connections are essential to strengthening the good work already happening.

Contribute

We work creatively to offer helpful resources to support individual and organizational needs.

What We Expect

Greater Awareness
Meaningful change begins with awareness. Through stories and relationships, we learn about the efforts taking place across Los Angeles, what is working and what challenges remain. As we learn together, our shared vision strengthens, uniting us in a common purpose.

Trusting Relationship
Trust is built over time through genuine connections. Our gatherings and conversations will create space for open dialogue, fostering relationships that are resilient, collaborative, and capable of withstanding challenges.

Amplified Impact
By learning together, and creatively supporting one another, we will sharpen our approaches, overcome common obstacles, and implement best practices that are relevant to our unique context. Through collective wisdom and action, we amplify our impact.

Our Values

We Start with Jesus

We believe that life with Jesus changes everything—our perspectives, our purpose, and our relationships. He is the foundation of all we do, and we strive to reflect his love, grace, and truth in every interaction. Our work is not about personal gain or recognition but about honoring and pleasing Jesus in how we serve our city and one another.

Every Person Matters

Our city is rich in diversity, and we believe every individual—regardless of background, status, or story—is made in the image of God. This conviction compels us to treat each person with dignity, respect, and compassion. We listen, engage, and advocate for one another, ensuring that everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.

We Focus on What Unites Us

In a world often divided by differences, we choose a different way. Rather than allowing disagreements to create barriers, we prioritize our shared love for Jesus, our commitment to our city, and our desire to serve others. By focusing on what brings us together, we cultivate unity, collaboration, and lasting impact.

Curiosity Motivates Us

We believe understanding begins with listening, learning, and asking good questions. Rather than reacting or assuming, we approach people and challenges with humility.

Theological Distinction

Together LA’s vision, mission, and values are derived from our Christian theological orientation and convictions. We begin with our belief in the Triune God, His love for His creation, the good news of what Jesus accomplished in his life, death, and resurrection, and our call to follow him. We do not expect to agree on everything, however, we believe these foundational Christian beliefs can form a foundation for cultivating significant relationships.
